Holden's Birthday

Today is a very special day here at NOTA everybody.  On this day, April 4th, our beloved writer Holden turns 16.  And that's what this post is about.  All these tracks are about him, today is his special day.

Happy birthday you Irish goon.

Here are all of the tracks.  If you don't understand why they are about Holden, take an extra second and think.

Hold On (Original Mix) - Rusko [old school wobble]

Hold On (Sub Focus Remix) - Rusko [unreal fast/hard dub]

Hold On (12th Planet Remix) - Rusko [slower dub, still ill]

I Like Holden Caufield - Bodi Bill [disco-ish]

World, Hold On (David Guetta & Joachim Garraud Remix) - Bob Sinclar [an unreal duo as always, Guetta + Garraud = Must Download]

Initiation

As this is my first post on the blog I was thinking of letting all viewers know of my taste of music as well as telling you who the hell I am. My name is Morgan Gray and I am interested in electro/house and every so often if I hear a great dubstep track I'll give it a listen.

Below you will find a variety of electro that I am particularly attracted to. I am going to be posting on the blog somewhat regularly with increasing frequency as I gain more experience.

Hope you enjoy.

Sweese regards,
Kidso

Spotlight: Rusko

Chris Mercer (aka Rusko) is one of the many prolific dubstep producers coming out of the UK. After earning a degree in music production from Leeds College in England, Rusko made his production debut in 2006 on Dub Police with the song SNES Dub. By 2007 he released Babylon, Vol. 1 with Sub Soldiers. Steeringaway from the darker side of Dubstep, Rusko brought an upbeat sound to the scene that appealed to many outside the community. It has been documented by numerous sources that this guy also really knows how to party. Here are some tunes. Try not to blow your bass out people.
