Hot Off The Press

Two new releases for everybody today, one a huge new song, and one an ill video.


We've given you both previews here in the recent past, and here are the official releases.


The first is the release of Dada Life's new track Fight Club Is Closed (It's Time For Rock 'N Roll).  Unlike the recent new releases by Dada, this track isn't as much of a banger as it is a club song.  But, nevertheless, an ill melody, beat, and vocals.  What else can you say.  Swedish House + Unreal Movie = MUST DOWNLOAD.

Gold Mines

Every once in a while, I'll have days or even weeks, when I just click download but don't really listen to a lot of the tracks that enter my "Recently Added" playlist.  And this past weekend has been like this.  This morning, while sorting through the mass amounts of downloads I had, I found some which I consider to be pure gold.  So, make sure you actually LISTEN to these tracks, trust me, they are worth it.

New Dada Life Preview! (March 29th Release)

So, we're all fans of the notorious Swedish duo, Dada Life. I don't know about you but I was a little disappointed in their last banger, Unleash The Fucking Dada, this track, however, is on a completely different level. Even though it is a preview and doesn't obviously show us the complete attitude of the song, from what we're given it sounds absolutely incredible. Don't mind the first 30 seconds, and the drop is mind crushing. Enjoy.

Mini Dual Spotlight: No Body! and Breakdown

Today's spotlight focuses on two of my favorite new producers.  Both are constantly releasing a ton of new remixes, as well as original mixes.  

Breakdown, made up by the David brothers (Matt and Josh), are from Los Angeles originally, and have both been DJing and Producing since they were early teens.  They're sound is a combination of Disco and hard house, which, although it sounds a bit like an oxymoron, is an incredible sound.  They combine the upbeat melodies of disco with the club banger bass of house.  Un. Real.

No Body! consists of two producers, Kevin Chapman and Ruben Smulovitz, both hailing from Los Angeles.  They are up and coming onto the electro scene, but creating huge hype for themselves with their constant stream of insane tracks.  Their sound can be best described as hard hitting house you can relax to.  Again, this sounds like a paradox, but trust me, it's perfect.  The duo run a music blog of their own, and make sure you check it out at www.dscotech.com.  All of their new tracks can be heard their first, as well as a ton of other music.

So this friday is a HUGE concert at Pacha NYC, Dada Life.  One of my favorite groups for both remixes and original production, the Swedish based duo have released nothing but hits recently, and personally I couldn't be more excited.  As an added bonus, Bart B More, another huge artist, is opening that night.


Dada Life has officially leaked their newest upcoming song, White noise / Red Meat, and they have been playing it in their live sets since new years eve.  Check out the teaser video below.  DO. NOT. MISS. THIS.


AND even more so, the party starts at 1 PM.  How could this be, you might be wondering?  Well Pacha is screening the new documentary "The Electro Wars."  The movie is about the influence blogs and the internet have had on the current electro scene (I KNOW), and should definitely be checked out.

Dragon Breathe Fire?

She's easily my favorite female voice in electro now, with Ellie Goulding in as a close second.  Dragonette, more specifically Martina, the lead singer, has the perfect, pitchy, voice for electro.  She has been featured on some of my favorite tracks recently, one of them I showed you guys, the dubstep remix of Volcano.  (Get it Here).  Working with some of the biggest acts in electronic music, such as Kaskade, Dragonette has officially made a name for themselves.
