Supplement to Bassnectar Post

So Anubis just added his ill getting started Bassnectar post, and I realized that I had the perfect follow up track for it.  


We've discussed female vocalists in electronic music on this blog quite a bit, and a recurring name is Ellie Goulding.  Her song lights is huge, but not very hardcore at all. And Bassnectar is completely hardcore. What happens when you put the two together? You get a hybrid of easy going vocals and classic dubstep wobble.  It's kind of difficult to explain, but picture sitting on the bus, and the girl of your dreams sits next to you.  She is a classic indie loving girl, nothing hardcore, all easy going, and she asks to share your headphones. Well if this song is playing, she is sure to be pleased.

It seems today that everyone is about the newest, illest shit.  But every once in a while it's fun to go back and check out some of the old classics.  More often than not, you discover a song that you haven't heard in forever and fall in love all over again. 


Electro can sometimes be like alcohol.  It can get better with age, and the really old shit will knock you on your ass
